June 2025 Picks for Books, TV, and Fun

Hello Cozy Crime Fan!
Ah, June – the month when the roses bloom, the strawberries ripen, and your neighbor suddenly becomes very interested in what you’re doing out in the garden.
The cardigans are (mostly) packed away, the sun’s hanging around until bedtime, and it’s finally warm enough to read your cozy crime novels outside - just keep one eye on the shady figure next door with the suspiciously clean secateurs.
As ever, while the world gets sunnier, our favorite mysteries remain comfortingly dark: a freshly baked pie cooling on the windowsill, a body in the library, and a local knitting circle that knows far too much about arsenic.
In this month’s newsletter, we’ve got some cracking new books to tempt you, a romance-themed cozy mystery spotlight, brand new TV picks coming your way, and a fun feature on why we are all watching our favorite re-runs!
There’s also a quiz to test your cozy crime sidekick knowledge - do you know your Hastings from your Watson??
So pour yourself a lemonade (or something stronger - it’s your newsletter), pull up a deckchair, and get ready for your June fix of quirky crimes, charming settings, and mysteries that unfold just as the ice in your drink begins to melt.
Here’s to murder, mayhem, and midsummer mischief!
Happy sleuthing!
